A Message from our President

Fall 2019

Dear Tri Delta Sisters and Friends,

Brave. Bold. Kind. These are words that should be familiar to us as Tri Deltas. They represent so much of who we are - our founding, our ritual and our aspirations to become the women Sarah Ida Shaw dreamed we would be.

Being a woman who is brave is one ready to face and endure danger. It means to show courage.

Being a woman who is bold is one who is confident and courageous; always ready to take a risk.

Being a woman who is kind is one who loans someone their strength rather than reminding them of their weakness.

I know I have a lot of work to do to get that right every day but it makes me so proud that as Tri Deltas, we can unite over those words to make a lasting impact in our homes, within our circles, in our workplaces, in our neighborhoods and in our city. In fact, the impact is already being felt.

At Volunteer Leadership Conference this past July, our alumnae chapter was recognized as the top alumnae chapter who exhibits an unselfish and steadfast commitment to philanthropic endeavors that benefit the Tri Delta Foundation, local childhood cancer charities and initiatives for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Talk about Brave, Bold and Kind! And we aren’t done just yet! We have an exciting year ahead as we continue to live, learn and lead with purpose.

I hope you can join us at our kickoff event, September 24th as we acknowledge and celebrate our past and look forward to our future. You are welcome here with open arms and we can’t wait to change the world with you: brave bold and kind sister.

With loyalty and steadfast love,

Ashley
